Welcome to Season 2 of ‘Conversations’. Since holySmith! The Boy recently turned three, I decided to move ahead with a new season.

To set the scene, we took holySmith! The Boy to Chili’s on Mill Ave on the evening of his birthday (that’s where he wanted to go). When we get there, we have a cute waitress. . .so without further ado. . .

This is one of my personal favorites. There was a bit on the news the other night which showed two sea lions sitting on a rock at whatever zoo, which prompted the following conversation. . .

Conversations with a 2-Year-Old Episode 5 is a post from: holySmith!

Episode 4 is from a conversation The Boy and I had the other day. I had made some kind of comment about a bar as we were driving by on our way home. The Boy asked about the bar and I told him that’s where you go to get a drink, like a beer. Armed with that knowledge, The Boy logically assumed that the bar would also be the place where he could get a soda, particularly a “green soda”, which (in his world) is actually green Gatorade or Powerade, not actual soda.

Conversations with a 2-year-old Episode 3 is a post from: holySmith!

Here’s Episode 2, which takes place last weekend when I asked holySmith! The Boy to take an empty box out to the recycle bin for me. He is in his “say no to everything phase”, thus the conversation.

The conversation for Episode 3 has already happened, but I don’t think that Xtranormal.com offers a “hand fart” motion option for the characters. . .I’ll see what I can do.
