Alex Rodriguez is a rod.

What a dick.

Alex Rodriguez is exactly why fans need to stop paying to go to games. We aren’t paying for the experience anymore, we’re paying to inflate this douchebag’s ego. I understand that he brings people to games, but I think he is completely overrated and he is simply not a winner. But people need to see through this with him in particular and stop the vicious cycle.

He is not interested in winning as evidenced by him not winning shit as a Yankee. If you can’t win with the Yankees, who can you win with?

The fans are responsible for this. While I agree that baseball players make way too much money for what they actually do, I also agree that they are the reason people go to the games. If people are going to games, the players have the right to share in the wealth they help generate, but this is just outrageous. The guy will never win a World Series and he is only about the money at this point. But if the fans understand that their team will never win with D-Bag on their team, isn’t that enough to not want him? Michael Jordan was worth every penny BECAUSE HE WON CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Let’s hope no team wants him and he has to go play in Japan. I mean, once Barry Bonds broke the HR record, the Giants fans stopped going to the games because the team sucked. Nobody really cares to see one guy make all the money and not win them a championship, so if that is missing, hasn’t he already worn out his welcome for pretty much every team, even the stupid retard Mets? That, and if a team had to pay him $350 million, how could they afford to pay the rest of the team? Clearly there is an “I” in Rodriguez.

What a dick.

You’re preaching to the choir with this post holydouche! However, Michael Jordan blows, and he only won championships because he played when the NBA was at its weakest. We’ve already argued this on another blog so I’ll just leave it at that.

Back to Bagex Rodriguez though, I’m totally regretting not putting him on the 2007 All-MLB Douchebag Team. Oh well, there’s always next year, assuming he doesn’t go and play in Japan after every team turns him down.

Here’s hoping he signs with the Cubs only to tear his ACL during spring training.

Oh yeah, and don’t you think it’s kind of douchey of you to enable gravatar on your blog without having a gravatar yourself?
