Favorite Songs List

I guess it is very hard to rank music. The main reason is that you have favorite songs or CDs for the various moods in which you might be. I know there are times when I need to be rocked, and other times when I need to think, and still other times when I just want to wallow in memories of days gone by. All moods evoke different passions that you probably associate with some kind of music or another.

So this really isn’t a ranking, per se, but more of a place where I can list all the favorite songs that I can recall off the top of my head.

Here we go:

Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)
Mysterious Ways (U2)
Panama (Van Halen)
Blackened (Metallica)
Thunderstruck (AC/DC)
Echoes (Pink Floyd)
The Blue (David Gilmour)
The Imperial March (John Williams)
Eruption (Van Halen)
’39 (Queen)
Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N Roses)
Hero of the Day (Metallica)
The Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd – Yep, the whole thing. If you want to argue with me as to why an entire album is on my song list, call me)
Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve)
Broken Hearted Savior (Big Head Todd and the Monsters)
Summer Wind (Frank Sinatra)
Rocket (Def Leppard)
So Far Away (Dire Straits)
Innuendo (Queen)
A Little Less Conversation (Elvis)
Don’t (Elvis)
Dimming of the Day (Richard Thompson, but I love the David Gilmour cover of this song most)
Bad (U2)
Peace Frog (The Doors)
Soul Kitchen (The Doors)
Runaround (Van Halen)
Take the Money and Run (Steve Miller)
Mother (Pink Floyd)
Goodbye Blue Sky (Pink Floyd)
Even Flow (Pearl Jam)
Lenny (Stevie Ray Vaughan)
Would (Alice in Chains)
Paranoid (Black Sabbath)
Something (Beatles)
Red Hill Mining Town (U2)

Ain’t Too Proud to Beg (Temptations)
Sun King (Beatles)
She Came in Through the Bathroom Window (Beatles)
Up Around the Bend (CCR)
Lookin Out My Back Door (CCR)
Thank You (Led Zeppelin)
Ramble On (Led Zeppelin)
Immigrant Song (Led Zeppelin)
Got to be There (Jackson 5)

Lumbergh voice: Yeah… I’m gonna need an mp3 disk with all those songs. If you could have that for me by next Saturday, that’d be great, mmmkay?

I think there is an error in your list cause I don’t see any George Michael in there.
