HolySmith! was there last night at the Cricket Pavillion in Phoenix to see Roger Waters and company perform the Dark Side of the Moon album in its entirety. The show ruled. The first set had lots of old Floyd classics, a classic Roger song, and a new song. The second set was DSOTM and the encore was basically an abreviated version of The Wall, concluding with Comfortably Numb.
You can read my official review on the Roger Waters Tour page on my favorite Floyd site Brain-Damage (UK).
They didn’t have lasers, but they did release the flying pig into the night sky, Roger was harshly political (but in a good way), and the band was just fantastic, that is really what I think (and they did play Have a Cigar!).
